For healthcare practices, not patients
Northline Referral Partners

Medical marketing & professional outreach for healthcare practices

Get in front of the right referral partners. Stay top of mind.

We’re a small medical marketing firm. We help independent practices explain what they do to the clinicians, facilities and care teams nearby. Then we keep showing up, politely and on schedule.

Who should hear from you, and what they should hear.

Your practice sits in the middle of offices and facilities that see the same patients you do. We find them, rank them, and send each one the same clear message.

Illustration: your practice connected to 7 kinds of referral partners (Endocrinology, Home health, Skilled nursing, Hospital case management, Podiatry, Senior living, Primary care). One consistent message goes to every partner.

  • One consistent message, every partner.

More than a list of contacts. A repeatable outreach system.

The list is the easy part. The hard part is the boring middle: the right person at each office, a one-pager that answers their questions, and a follow-up when we said there would be one. That’s most of what we do.

One message. Multiple professional touchpoints.

What you treat, who to call, how to refer. Said the same way everywhere, and only where the channel rules allow.

ChannelWhen we use itThe rule we follow
EmailShort updates to partner offices that have agreed to hear from you.Follows CAN-SPAM. Every message has an unsubscribe link and a postal address, and opt-outs are honored.
FaxOnly where fax is how a partner office prefers to receive information.Follows the TCPA and Junk Fax Prevention Act. Permission first, an opt-out on the first page, no mass or unsolicited fax blasts.
Direct mailPrinted service overviews and referral instructions that stay on the desk.Accurate, practice-approved content, and we stop mailing anyone who asks.

Learn. Map. Reach. Improve.

Then do it again next quarter.

  1. Step 1

    Learn

We start with your services, your capacity, the patients you help most, and how referrals reach you now. We also ask how you want to be described, and what’s off limits.

  2. Step 2

    Map

We research the professional partners where an introduction would actually be useful, rank them, and note how each one is happy to be contacted.

  3. Step 3

    Reach

We share one consistent, practice-approved message with those partners on a steady schedule. Same facts every time.

  4. Step 4

    Improve

We go through what we heard with you, tighten the message and the referral pathway, and plan the next cycle.

Why we started this

Built on hands-on healthcare outreach experience

This started as legwork for one practice. An advanced wound care clinic in the Chicago area was doing specialized work, and a lot of the offices and facilities around it didn’t really know what it offered or how to send a patient.

So we did the outreach by hand. Built the list. Called ahead. Dropped off a one-page sheet that said what the practice treats and who to call. Came back when we said we would, and kept a log of every question.

Most of the job turned out to be unglamorous: the right contact, a clear piece of paper, and follow-up that actually happens. We figured plenty of independent practices have the same gap and nobody with time to fill it. So we wrote the process down and made it a service.

Questions we get first

All questions
Do you purchase or sell patient referrals?
No. We never buy, sell, broker or pay for patient referrals, and we never offer anything of value to anyone in exchange for referrals. Our work is professional education and communication. Referral decisions belong to clinicians and their patients.
How do you charge?
A flat fee (per project or per month) or an hourly rate, set in advance in a signed written agreement. We aim for an initial term of at least one year. Rates reflect fair market value for the work. Our fees are never based on the volume or value of referrals, patients, leads or appointments, and never on a percentage of your revenue.
Can you take patient referrals on your website?
No. This website does not accept patient referrals, patient information, or medical records. Referring clinicians should send referrals directly to your practice through your own intake process.
Will you guarantee referrals?
No. We don’t promise or claim to generate referrals or patients. Clinicians and their patients make referral decisions on their own. What we commit to is organized, consistent outreach and an honest report on the work.
